Starlight on 22nd is a place to come together as a community and meet your neighbors and new friends.
Our place has an eclectic blend of artsy and retro that has a creative appeal. Cultural events of art and music are listed on our events calendar. Outdoor patios and outdoor stage operative during nice weather.
Free Parking along the light rail line on Brevard, steps from our place. We also have a pay Parking lot across the street in our fenced lot.:
Weekdays after 5pm-10pm
Saturdays after 1pm-12am

Who We Are
In 1986, Owners Ruth Ava Lyons and her partner sculptor Paul Sires were the first pioneering artists who started the NoDa Arts district, an abandoned mill village commercial area that they blossomed into a arts and entertainment area.They owned Center Of the Earth Gallery for 23 years and Eden Orion Realty which focuses on artist studio spaces and commercial venues.
Both are professional artists. Ruth is the recipient of many grants and residencies and her work is represented locally by Hidell Brooks gallery. She is also does public art projects,is an avid hoop dancer, scuba diver , and roller skater.
Paul works in the unforgiving medium of granite for his large-scale sculptural works that can be viewed at the Spectrum Arena plaza as well as other locations around Charlotte and beyond. He is currently pursuing other interests which include music and restoration of a national registry location in Craggy, NC.
Orion Sires: Manager is a graduate of Queens University McColl School of Business. His interests are his 2 year old daughter Aspen,BMWs, and Pokémon cards.Visit his YouTube channel @orionsires
